How To Deal With Fear As A Christian

by
Fear is false evidence appearing real. Are you a Christian that is struggling with fear? If so, you've come to the right place. In this article, I'm going to show you how to deal with fear as a Christian.

Fear is Our Greatest Enemy

Fear is our greatest enemy, it really is. Fear can stop us from doing so many things in life. It makes me wonder why we are afraid or what we're actually afraid of. So many people Christians their lives in fear and don't know how to over come it.

Fear can stop you from chasing after your dreams, fear can stop you from doing the things that you really want to do. So, as you can see, fear really is our greatest enemy.

However, the Bible says that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of love and of a sound mind so that we may prove what is that good and perfect acceptable will of God.

Fear Does Not Come From God

Fear does not come from God, instead, it comes from the enemy. Fear comes from the enemy that is trying to defeat us, the enemy that is trying to stop the people of God.

So, understand that God does not want you to be afraid of anyone or anything. God wants you to be confident, to be strong, to be bold, and to trust in him and know that he has your back no matter what you're going through in life.

It doesn't matter what battle you may face or what you're struggling with, just know that God is there with you every step of the way.

Fear and Unbelief

Fear and unbelief go hand in hand. Unbelief is a part of fear. Unbelief can make you question the word God. Sometimes God wants you to walk and not look back, but unbelief, which is also fear can stop you.

This is why it is important that you know the word of God. You have to know what God is saying to you and believe it in your heart. Understand that when you encounter fear and doubt, the only thing that is going to help you is the word of God.

Keep in mind that the word of God can encourage you and motivate you to chase after your dreams and to not be afraid. The word can give you such power to overcome things that you can't possibly overcome on your own.

We All Have A Purpose

The truth is that we all have a purpose in this life. We were all put on this earth to accomplish something. We are all destined for greatness. However, most people don't accomplish their dreams or goals or God's plan for their life because of fear.

Sometimes you really have to let go and let God. Perhaps, you're afraid to fail, afraid to make mistakes, afraid to fall. However, even if you do fall, know that God has your back no matter what. You will simply fall right into the arms of God, where you are loved and protected.

Conclusions

Don't let fear control your life. Fear does not come from God, so don't let it control you. Stay focus on the word of God, and you'll be fine.
